Been a long time since I blogged (seems like my recent blog posts all start with this same phrase.. Haha..)

It was xiaomei's birthday yesterday so first of all.. HAPPY BIRTHDAY BABE! (I already wished her, so this is not considered late.. I'm just putting it in writing.. =P) We had dinner last weekend @ Watami ION Orchard to celebrate her birthday.. The food there was not bad.. Hee.. Ate quite alot.. Their food items are mostly small dishes meant for sharing.. So we ordered alot of small dishes.. Love their desserts! =D They had a promotion whereby they will give you 50% of your bill in cash vouchers for your next visit.. So dad gave me some and told me to bring baby there for food another day cos baby had to work and couldn't join us.. We also bought a Crumpler bag for xiaomei for her present and had swensen's ice-cream cake last night! Hope u enjoyed ur 22nd birthday girl.. =D

Baby and I headed to Watami on Wednesday to have dinner.. We had to queue like 1 hr plus to get seats.. = I think it was cos the promotion was still ongoing.. But the food made up for the wait.. We paid $10 for the whole dinner (got $50 cash vouchers) and had like 10 dishes of food.. So full!!

Baby and I headed to Swensens ION for their ice-cream buffet yesterday.. They are having a 1-for-1 promotion till September.. Really worth it to go! 50 flavours of ice-cream, tons of toppings and they also have waffles, cakes and fondue.. They even have cold stone there! I only managed to stuff 10 scoops of ice-cream and half a waffle.. Baby had the same too (but he had dinner before that so u know who's the one with the biggest stomach).. I think it's only worth it to go if it's 1-for-1 promotion.. If it's their original price ($18.90) then it's not so.. Unless u are a big ice-cream eater..

So excited about next month, cos I'm probably going to get new phone when my contract reaches 20 months.. Hehe.. Haven exactly decided which phone to get but am leaning towards HTC Touch Diamond 2 and Baby's leaning towards Blackberry Bold.. =D

Will be going to watch movie marathon laterz.. Hangover, GI Joe and then Where got ghost.. Hehe.. Baby's working right now (he is doing part-time ERA, so any buy/sell/rent pls intro, intro.. thanks! hee =D) and will be meeting him in the evening @ Vivo.. Haven watched movies lately cos baby has been pretty busy with his new committment.. But it's ok, it's for our future mahz.. =D

Alrighty, I'm gonna surf around and do stuff (dunno what) Haha.. Till the next time I post.. =D

Heyo all!

I'm back!! (Since 2 weeks ago).. =P

Haven had time to update abt our trip but we had a super duper smashing time over there.. Weather was worse than Singapore, but we could live with it.. Hee.. The photoshoot was especially tiring but I think the baby was in the worst situation.. Shirt, pants, jacket.. Lolx.. U know wat I mean.. But we had fun.. And the photos turned out great! So great that we over spent and selected so much more photos! Lolx..

Off to Taiwan in less than 12 hours! Woo-hoo..

Hehe.. Had my french mani and pedi done this afternoon.. Went to watch Ice Age 3 then met up with some pple for durian..

95% packed oredi.. Left those stuff that can only put in last minute like comb etc.. Will be heading to Taichung for our photoshoot first for 2 days then to Taipei to eat and shop and eat.. Lolx..

Yipee!! 7 more days before we leave for our Taiwan trip.. Hehe.. So, so excited!!

We had our flu vaccine this morning.. Then we headed to Chapter 2 for our hair cut.. I also helped baby to dye his hair.. Hehe.. Sis will help me to dye mine tomorrow.. Cos my hair too long and thick, need professional to do.. Wahaha.. We also had our money exchanged to TWD @ Mustafa just an hour ago..

Tmr will be another busy day.. Going to send some stuff to grandma, then head to Plaza Singapura for Transformers.. Wanted to watch it today actually but all cinemas were almost fully booked.. Zzz.. So had to book for tmr instead.. Afte which, I will be heading to Liang Court for facial and infra body contouring treatment @ Amore Spa.. Then home for sis to change my hair colour..

After which, it's work for 4 days and then will be on leave on Friday to pack my stuff and also to do my manicure and pedicure.. Found a highly recommended home-based place @ Tampines and her charges are very reasonable! Hehe.. Was thinking of driving there myself but was afraid I might ruin my manicure (cos i'm freaking careless) so have timed my session so that baby can come fetch me after he ends work..

So happy, so happy!! Hehehe...

Heyo... Been a long time (again..) Hee..

Just some simple updates on my life recently..

I've finished this 3 months slimming program I was on and have lost 9kg! Hehe.. Darn happy cos I really lost quite abit of inches too.. =) I've just joined Amore hoping to continue losing weight and toning up by exercising.. Have been to 4 lessons this week.. Arms and legs are aching from the lack of exercise lolx.. But feels good.. Hope I manage to tone up before July so that can take prettier pics in Taiwan.. =)

Watched some movies recently - Blood, ghost of gf's past, Pelham 123 and I love you man.. All were not bad.. Waiting for Transformers to be released.. Hehe..

Baby's sitting right next to me now.. Staring @ my screen.. Wondering what I will write next.. Lolx..

It's the end of the weekend.. Again.. Back to work again.. =P 6 more weeks to our Taiwan trip! So excited.. Even the H1N1 cases there are not dampening my spirits.. But of course we'll be taking our precautions like getting the 3M N95 masks (which are sold out in Singapore.. pls let me know if u know where I can get them).. to put on when in the airport and stuff..

Was sick on Friday.. Had really bad diarrhea (prob cos of the curry the night before) and was stuck at home.. Only felt better (after many toilet runs) in the late afternoon.. So went to watch movie with baby @ Marina Square.. We watched Night @ the Museum 2.. Damn funny la.. Lolx.. I think it was better than the first one.. Hee..

On Saturday, baby and I woke really early and headed over to Expo.. To queue up for the Crocs Expo Sale.. Lolx.. We say the advert sent thru emails and was wondering if we shld go for it.. Then baby's mum said that she wanted to get a pair.. I saw reviews online saying the sale was really worth going.. So what the heck, we went to start q-ing @ 8am.. Lolx.. The sale started @ 10am.. Pple were running like crazy lorz! I must say their sale was pretty good.. $25 for the original Crocs, $20 for Prima and $25 for Alice.. It's like 50% off.. There were lotsa cute kids Crocs as well.. Disney princesses, superheroes, cartoon characters and all @ $25 only! Too bad no kid yet if not I'll grab a few pair for them.. Lolx.. Ended up getting a pair of brown Prima, a pair of pearl pink disney series crocs and baby and I each got a pair of orange original crocs as well.. We'll be wearing the pair during our PS in Taiwan with one of our style.. Got some jibbits to clip on too.. Heee.. Baby's mum also got 2 pairs for herself, some sandals for his bro and dad.. She also helped baby's cousins to get a few pairs so in total, we bought 14 pairs! Lolx.. So many.. They are my first Crocs and I must say there are really nice to wear.. Light and bouncy.. Haha..

After the sale, we headed home, played some monopoly (where baby won me again) then headed to Haji Lane to meet up with baby's colleague who's there to look at his tattoo design.. Baby and I are thinking of doing tattoo.. But still contemplating so wanted to go see-see and check out their portfolio and price etc.. Baby then drove me home so that I could get changed and stuff.. We then headed to Swissotel's New Asia Bar to meet up with his colleagues to chill out.. Second time there for me and the view is still as magnificent.. Lolx.. Left @ around 1230am (cos was feeling really sleepy)..

Baby stayed over and we headed to Vivo to watch 'The Conspiracy'.. The movie was not bad, somewhat similar to 'Eagle Eye'.. We had lunch @ Republic and guess who we saw there.. Lee Hsien Loong and Ho Ching! We were wondering how come got so many guys standing around the area we were sitting at.. Din realise until they were finishing their food and they were sitting only like one table away.. =P After which, baby went home to shower then we headed out again with his mum and bro to bai-bai.. Then had dinner @ Geylang.. Frog's legs porridge.. Yummy! Haven had that for the longest time liaoz.. Haha..

Went back to baby's place and chilled, watched some tv then came home ard 1030.. And that's the end of our weekend.. So fast.. =P Wellz, it's ok, 5 more days to the next one.. Lolx.. Will be here soon.. =) Some pictures..

Yeah! It's the weekend! Hehe..

Went to watch 'Angels & Demons' today.. Very good show! All the cinemas were like left with first or second row seats so we decided to go to GV Yishun to watch.. Lolx.. Baby came to fetch me from office then we drove all the way to Yishun.. We had dinner @ Northpoint at this Japanese themed food court.. Japanese food @ food court prices.. Actually it wasn't that cheap also la.. I had ramen which wasn't fantastic and baby had baked rice with cream sauce and teriyako chicken.. He said his was good (except for the onions and mushrooms which he hates)..

The movie finished @ 11pm.. Baby was about to drive me home when we realise that we were quite near our Sengkang home so we made a slight detour and headed over to look-see.. Our block is now @ its third level! Hehe.. If it's 2 weeks a level, then in another 3 months it'll reach our floor.. Woo Hoo.. *cross fingers*

Hasn't been a smooth week at work for me.. Still trying to grasp the new job responsibilities, can only end work earliest 630pm and some unhappy stuff happened as well.. Let's just hope it will get better as time goes by.. =) Really miss my old team though..

May ends in 2 week's time.. Then it's June and then it's July! How I wish July will come before June this year so that I can go to Taiwan soon! Haha.. Haven been on a holiday for quite awhile.. Think the last time was Genting last July.. Hope time passes faster!!

Been in the new team for a week already.. Not quite getting used to it.. Used to be able to knock off work sharp (around 4-6pm depending on daylight savings).. Now, everyday is like uncertain.. I stayed till like 730pm last night! The sky was already dark.. *sigh* Wellz, what to do, I have to tahan, at least another 4 months before I move to my last rotation.. Will have lesser time to meet baby during the weekdays leh.. Luckily, weekends no need to work.. =P I hope I dun get into any development teams for my next rotation... Heard their usual knock off time is 8pm.. Sometimes up till 12am, 1am! Ahhh..

Anywayz, went out with baby's colleagues after work yesterday.. It was one of his colleague's (Mabel) birthday.. They had dinner first and I joined them for KTV @ Party World Chinatown.. Sang till around 2am.. They were a bunch of crazy pple man.. Lolx.. Taking funny pictures and all.. After the singing session.. A few of us continued with the picture-taking around Club Street's shophouses.. Machiam like tourist.. =P Reached home around 3am + and went to bed 4am..

It's Mother's Day tommorrow.. Would like to wish all mummies 'Happy Mother's Day!' =)

We are back from the 1 night stay @ The Fullerton Hotel.. It was a wonderful experience! Not only cos they had excellent service, excellent food, excellent room with an excellent view but it's also cos Baby proposed to me yesterday with a solitaire from Love & Co's LVCSignatori series.. =)

Well, as most pple know, baby and I are already in the midst of preparing for our big day next year.. It was a mutual decision to get married as the time was right so there wasn't any romantic proposal that came together with it.. Until yesterday.. =) It was really unexpected.. Below is an excerpt from our wedding blog regarding the proposal..

Zhengyuan proposed to me on the 29th April 2009 @ The Fullerton Hotel - Quay
Room 603. It was a big surprise for me because I truly wasn't expecting it! The
room package was meant to be for his birthday celebration which falls on
(surprise! surprise!) 29th April.. Just before our in-room dining dinner
arrived, he told me to go into the bathroom and stay there for awhile as he had
something to give me and he had to prepare for it.. I was in the bathroom for
barely 10 seconds and the doorbell rang.. I could hear whispering but could not
make out what was being said.. After another 30 seconds, he told me to come out
and he was holding this huge bouquet of flowers.. 99 roses in total.. Even then,
I wasn't suspecting anything cos I tot he just wanted to be romantic.. He gave
me the flowers and started stammering.. Saying things like we've been together
for so long.. Then suddenly he said.. "I dunno what to say.." It was soo sweet..
I truly thought he just wanted to surprise me with some flowers to thank me for
being by his side.. Afterall, it was his birthday and he was entitled to be
emotional.. =) Next thing I knew, he knelt down and brought out a solitaire! I
had the shock of my life and started to cry.. I was really, really touched.. And
of cos I said "Yes".. Then the funniest thing happened.. This kan cheong fella
actually dropped my ring! &@$%*%#* He fumbled a little and picked it up from
the carpet, smiled and put on the ring for me.. Who could resist such an
adorable guy?

The stay @ The Fullerton was truly fabulous.. I think only pictures can describe what I want say right now.. Haha.. Don't worry, there will be pics but this is rougly what we did for our 2D1N stay at the legendary Fullerton Hotel..

Baby came to pick me up @ around 145pm and we drove to The Fullerton Hotel.. It felt like I was going to work cos same direction ma.. Lolx.. Anywayz, we parked and made our way to the hotel reception.. Along the way, we started to camwhore (we took 320 pictures in total!), snapping every single thing we came across.. Lolx.. We checked in and their staff were really friendly.. We were guided to the lifts and the guy was pointing out the various restaurants in the lobby.. We stepped into the lift and made a boo-boo.. Lolx.. Our room was on the 6th floor but no matter how hard we tried, we could not get the lift to bring us to that floor.. We walked into 3 different lifts until we finally gave up and asked a staff on the 5th floor.. Lolx.. Turns out we had to slot our key card into the lift to be able to select the 6th level.. Two dummies! Haha..

We finally reached our room (after much embarassment) and we were truly wow-ed by the room.. The view was awesome! We were facing the Marina Promenade area and had a splendid view of the buildings around there.. I was excited for night to fall cos the pictures would definitely be very pretty.. Hehe.. We recced the room for like half an hour, had a bubble bath and finally settled down to select our menus for the night.. It was a choice between Asian, Chinese, Western and Muslim.. I took the Muslim set and baby took the Western set.. Baby was truly surprised by the service that Fullerton staff displayed even on the phone! After lazing around for awhile, we decided to take a walk in Suntec to grab some titbits and drinks (because each can of soft drink cost $8 in the mini fridge!).. We came back just in time to change and had 15 minutes before our dinner came.. *This is when the proposal event happened*

Dinner came @ 630pm sharp and the in-room dining staff set up our table just next to the balcony doors so we could enjoy the view while having our dinner.. Their manager also brought up a complimentary birthday cake for baby.. They left us after setting up the table and making sure we knew where to get our main courses and desserts.. It was a very romantic setting.. Baby even lit some candles to make it more 'candlelight dinner-y'.. Haha.. There was red wine but fearing the rashes that would pop up whenever I drank anything alcoholic, I didn't drink it.. Just held the glass to take pictures.. Hehe.. Baby drank a few glasses tho' =) The dinner was good and we were bloated by the time we reached dessert.. Haha.. After dessert, I sang a birthday song for baby and he blew out the candle.. The cake was good! I had 2 slices of it.. =P After all the food, we proceeded to the balcony for more picture-taking.. The view was really breath-taking.. Not that I have never seen the view but I guess it makes a big difference who you are with at that moment.. =)

We called up room service to clear our plates and also to bring up tea (for us to digest) and we proceeded to play Monopoly! Lolx.. The set was bought when we were @ Suntec City.. It was the Here and Now: The World Edition version.. They din have Singapore on it though! Maybe we are too tiny a dot.. =P We played for around 3 hours and at the end of it, I WON! Haha.. Baby was bankrupt (owed me like 60+ million!) Lousy! Hehe.. We had our last bubble bath for the night and went to bed.. The King sized bed was so soft and comfortable.. Slept like a baby.. Hee..

We both woke up @ 830 this morning, washed up and headed down for breakfast.. Wow.. The spread was like it wasn't breakfast, it was dinner! Haha.. And of course, we ate alot! We were told to sign our bill and we were shocked at the price they charge for it.. $45++ per person! Wow! Haha.. Luckily it was included in our room package.. But $45++? No wonder there was so much food.. Haha.. We headed back to the room and intended to go swimming after resting for awhile but ended up watching tv and dozing off on the big and comfortable bed.. Lolx.. One last bubble bath (luckly we had complimentary late checkout) and we packed up.. How quickly good times fly and it was time to check out.. Baby kept reminding me to ask about the complimentary carpark coupon.. I understood why when we were at the carpark gantry.. 24 hours of parking costs $55! Wow..

Well, the day is not over.. We headed to another very important appointment and that was to the HDB Hub to sign our lease for our flat! Hehe.. We are now one step closer to really owning our flat physically.. Hehe.. Chip Eng Seng (Coral Spring's contracter) please, please build faster so that we can get our keys sooner!!
